How To Correctly Operate The Pneumatic Anchor Cable Releaser?
Nov 10, 2025| Pneumatic Anchor Cable Releaser Operating Procedure
1. Pre-operation check
Check the hydraulic oil level, pipe connections, and seals to ensure there are no leaks.
When using a manual pump, inject mechanical oil and expel air from the hose through the directional control valve.
2. Anchor cable locking and tensioning
Insert the steel strand into the anchor releaser hole, ensuring the jack's pressure head contacts the anchor head casing.
Start the hydraulic pump (pneumatic/electric), pressurize to 63MPa, and extend the anchor release cylinder to lift the anchor casing.
3. Anchor removal
After the anchor is loosened, use a special wrench to remove the anchor through the pressure head. Operators must retreat to a safe area 3 meters away.
Immediately stop operation if the roof is fractured or gas levels exceed limits.
Safety Precautions
1. Collaborative work: At least 3 people are required (2 operators, 1 observer), and working within the cutting line is strictly prohibited.
2. Power source selection: Prioritize the use of a pneumatic hydraulic pump to avoid the risk of emulsion leakage.
3. Maintenance requirements: Regularly calibrate the pressure gauge, and drain the hydraulic oil for long-term storage.
