What Are The Advantages Of Self-drilling Anchor Rods?

Compared with ordinary anchor rods, self-drilling anchor rods have the following advantages:

1. Applicable to all kinds of rock and soil geological conditions. Especially in geological conditions where ordinary anchor rod construction technology is not easy to construct, it is better to use it, such as geology prone to collapse.

2. The drilling depth is not limited. Due to the limitations of existing anchor rod materials and drilling equipment, the drilling depth of conventional anchor rods is shallow, but the drilling depth of self-drilling anchor rods can be relatively much larger due to the small drilling resistance. According to the Hengnuo anchoring project report, the current drilling depth that self-drilling anchor rods can reach is 18m.

3. Applicable to construction in small spaces. The length of a single rod of a self-drilling anchor rod can be cut or extended as needed. Common specifications are 2m, 3m, 4m and 6m.

4. The process is simple. Self-drilling anchor rods complete drilling, grouting and anchoring in one drilling, simplifying the process and speeding up the construction.

5. It is conducive to stabilizing the hole wall. While drilling, a screw grouting machine is used to pressurize and supply cement slurry with a water-cement ratio of 0.4~0.5, so that the slurry quickly fills the borehole and cracks in the rock and soil and is absorbed and solidified by the hole wall, ensuring the stability of the hole wall.
