What Is The Lubrication Cycle For Pneumatic Roofbolters?
Oct 06, 2025| I. Lubricant Replacement Standards
1. First Replacement
The lubricant should be replaced after the new equipment has been in operation for 200 hours.
2. Regular Cycle
Under normal operating conditions, the lubricant should be replaced every 4000 hours.
In high-temperature, dusty, or humid environments, the replacement interval should be shortened to every 2000 hours.
3. Adjustment for Special Operating Conditions
For heavy-duty or high-speed operations, it is recommended to check and replace the lubricant every 1000-1500 hours.
II. Lubrication and Maintenance of Key Components
1. Seal Lubrication
Rubber parts such as air leg seals and water jacket seals should be lubricated with grease and checked for wear every 15-20 days.
2. Bearings and Gears
The main shaft bearings and gear set require regular lubrication. If low-quality bearings are used, the maintenance cycle should be shortened.
III. Precautions
The viscosity, acid value, and impurity content of the lubricant should be checked regularly. If the indicators are abnormal, replace the lubricant immediately.
The oiler filter screen should be cleaned quarterly to prevent blockage and lubrication failure.
