Common Faults of Mining Anchor Cable Removal Devices

Dec 24, 2025|

1. Anchor cup or tool anchor deformation, twisting, or stripping: This is the main cause of anchor cables getting stuck and unable to be removed. If the anchor cup has not undergone high-frequency quenching or other strengthening treatments, it is prone to deformation under high pressure, thus jamming the anchor cable.

2. Loose or damaged equipment parts: Loose fasteners, cracks or deformation of fiberglass outriggers, and anchor winch brake failure can all affect the normal operation of the removal device.

3. Hydraulic or pneumatic system failure: For example, pneumatic anchor drilling rigs may experience problems such as insufficient motor power, slow outrigger retraction, no water spraying or intermittent water spraying, or inability to shut off the water supply. Removal devices using similar power systems may also experience similar faults.
